About Me

A little bit about me…

I grew up active, competing in swimming, athletics and karate. But by my late 20s, life looked very different. After my first pregnancy, I was carrying an extra 20 kilos, struggling with severe postnatal depression, and living with a large diastasis recti that eventually required surgical repair. Walking into my local gym at the time, I couldn’t find a trainer who understood my situation—no one my age, no one who had lived that struggle.

So, I took matters into my own hands. By making changes to the way I ate and committing to regular exercise, I lost the weight and discovered a love for strength training. That’s when I realised I wanted to be the trainer I had been searching for. At 30, I began my studies and went on to achieve a Master Trainer Certificate in Exercise Science & Fitness Management, a 1st Dan black belt, and several specialist qualifications.

More than 20 years later, I’m proud to be a Personal Trainer with heart. I’ve walked the path, faced the obstacles, and know firsthand how hard it can be to find your strength again. My lived experience, combined with my professional qualifications, allows me to guide and support other women on their own fitness journeys—helping them to build confidence, resilience and lasting results.

My favourite quote:

“If you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done.
